RosEcoMat adhesive reinforced kraft tape is reinforced with fiberglass and is designed to fix joints and overlaps during installation of the RosEcoMat Kraft Steam Barrier vapor barrier, providing maximum separation force compared to conventional adhesive tapes.
Kraft tape can be used to prepare surfaces made of paper or cardboard before insulation with cellulose wool, blown insulation made of wool or blown insulation made of wood fiber, in indoor and outdoor work (adhesive tape made of kraft paper is resistant to dusty, cold, hot and humid environments - retains the tightness of structures). It is necessary to glue the vapor barrier membrane with an overlap of 15-20 cm.
- If the bonded surfaces of the vapor barrier are wet or covered with frost, then the kraft tape will not stick!
- If the bonded surfaces of the vapor barrier are in dirt, dust, sawdust, oil, etc., then the adhesion of the adhesive joint will decrease (the tape may not stick well).
