Cotton boards perfectly dampen sound vibrations. The average sound absorption coefficient of cotton boards is 0.82 in the range from 100 Hz to 4 kHz. They provide airborne noise reduction from 43 dB to 62 dB

Cotton absorbs shock and structural vibrations somewhat worse due to its relatively low weight.

It is recommended to alternate our cotton boards of various density with 25- or 50-mm thickness to enhance the sound absorption effect of the private sector audible frequency spectrum.

Our product range also includes Polyest Antisound boards made of polyester fiber, Kenaf Antisound boards, made of hemp fiber to be used as a middle layer in sheathing.

The boards have increased elasticity and do not shrink when used in frame structures for the entire service life. The boards are mounted with a side stop and do not require additional fasteners in most cases. Wood battens (bars) or a metal profile are usually used for cladding. Use safe-health-level boards, such as gypsum boards, cement bonded particle boards, chipboard plates and others for sheathing. Veneered wood and ОSВ3 are not good for interior work.
