- Information about the product
RosEcoMat Kraft Steam Barrier is environmentally friendly steam barrier membrane for heat insulation protection consisting of: polyethylene film, two layers of craft paper and reinforced net inside. Due to its structure, it is easy to install and has a high tensile strength.
The membrane is ideal for use in eco-construction in horizontal and vertical surfaces of frame houses and log structures (when blowing out green fiber or to protect natural insulation made of flax). Despite the ability of the material to "breathe", it has excellent resistance to steam vapor and does not allow moisture to penetrate. RosEcoMat Kraft Steam Barrier can also be used in conjunction with other finishing materials in premises with increased humidity, provided that the rest of the finishing materials is resistant to water and steam.
Installation is carried out overlapping with a 15-20 cm approach. The joints are glued with adhesive tape, it is additionally possible to strengthen with staples every 40 cm.
