    Flax insulation rolls are used for insulating prefabricated intermediate floors, attic ceilings, sloped and mansard roofs, as well as other sloped or horizontal building structures. They can also be applied for thermal insulation of wastewater and heating pipes. Strips cut from the rolls are suitable for filling gaps when installing doors and windows. The standard insulation thickness in the rolls is 50 mm, and custom-sized products can be manufactured according to customer requirements. «RosEcoMat Roll» insulation is vapor-permeable, reliable, and environmentally friendly.

    Natural and Eco-Friendly Material:

    • «RosEcoMat Roll» is a natural, eco-friendly material that does not contain resins or formaldehyde, and therefore does not cause allergies. It is dust-free and does not react to cooling or heating from sunlight exposure.

    The binder for the flax fibers in the roll is a small amount of polyester fibers. The roll insulation has low thermal conductivity and can absorb and release excess moisture in the room without losing its geometric shape or technical properties. The product has a service life of at least 100 years, and reuse is possible.

    Installation «RosEcoMat Roll»:

    For quick and high-quality installation, it is recommended to lay the insulation from bottom to top over a pre-installed vapor barrier «RosEcoMat Kraft Steam Barrier VCL». Only in rare cases, such as repair or replacement of insulation, is it necessary to work from top to bottom, which is less convenient.

    Cutting and Handling:

    • The insulation is easy to cut — it does not break or crumble and maintains clean edges.

    Recommended tools:

    • special wavy-blade knives;
    • electric knives;
    • small band saws.

    Even a regular bread knife can be used if it is sturdy and sufficiently thick. A hand saw with fine teeth can also be used. See demonstration video on our YouTube channel.
